Attention all students who signed up to help with the 6th grade field day at BIS this Friday, June 9. Please remember to be there by 7:45 am and check in with Mrs. Johnson. Once she sends the list over, your absence here will be excused. Again, be there by 7:45 am.

Attention Juniors: If you are interested in running for a Senior Class Office, be sure to pick up an application form. They are located outside of the CRT Office, in the Main Office, and on the Schoology Announcement page. Forms are due to Mr. or Mrs. Berquist by 3PM on Wednesday. Elections will be held on Friday.

Attention ALL JUNIORS! If you are planning to take the SAT in August, the registration deadline is July 28th. Please be aware if you are planning to take the SAT here at SDHS calculators are NOT provided. You will NOT be permitted into testing without a valid ID and a printed testing ticket. Additionally please be certain that the name on your ID matches your testing ticket.

Furthermore, ACT testing will take place on Saturday, September 9th at SDHS, shortly after we return from summer break. The deadline to register for ACT is August 8th. If you have any SAT or ACT testing questions, please see Mrs. Candeloro in D149. Don’t forget: For August 26th SAT, register by July 28th and for the September 9th ACT, register by August 8th. Don’t delay sign up today!

The Intro to Theatre class would like to invite you to a series of staged readings. This year’s production, Guilty as Charged!, is a student devised show written and performed by the Intro to Theatre class. The production goes up Thursday, June 8th at 6:30 pm in the Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $5 for adults, and $3 for students. Interested in becoming a Decatur cheerleader? Sign up for the Cheer Clinic on June 10th beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Learn and work on stunting, tumbling, jumps, cheer, and dance! The clinic is open for any current and future Seahawk cheerleader aged 5 to 18. Registration is $30 for current Decatur students, and $45 for non-students. If you have any questions, see Coach Johnson in room C129.
