The LGBTQ Fact of the Week is: Decatur has an active GSA group that meets during After School Academy on Wednesday afternoons. What is GSA, you ask? GSA is a next-generation LGBTQ+ racial and gender justice club that creates space for support, organizing, and community building so that trans and queer youth have what they need to stay in school, become leaders who can advocate for themselves and their needs, and collaborate with other youth and community groups to fight for racial and gender justice. The SDHS GSA wishes you a successful second semester of the ’22-’23 school year!

Spinebreaker members! We will meet next Monday, after school, in the media center to discuss the novel Feed. Please make sure you finish the book for this meeting, as spoilers will be released during the discussion. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Thompson.
