For as long as humans have been on Earth, mental health has always been an issue and has been tricky to  completely solve. People are trying to constantly find tips how to ease the brain. Here are pointers to help your worries! 

#1. Getting enough exercise

Just 30 minutes of exercise can help boost mood and improve your physical health. Exercise causes your brain to release chemicals like endorphins and serotonin that helps improve your overall mood. Can also improve memory and reduce anxiety and depression.

#2. Sleeping the needed amount

Sleep improves learning and problem-solving skills! Sleep helps set yourself up for successful with a refreshed positive mindset. A popular cause for bad mental health is staying in bed all day, which leads to stress and overthinking.

#3. Have enough time alone

Time alone can help take in the things you need to help get a deeper meaning of who you are and what you want to be. The amount of time one should have alone with themself should be 20 to 30 minutes every day. A plus to having time alone is being able to regulate your emotions better and be stable. 

#4. Finding books meaningful to you to read

Studies have shown that reading can lower stress levels and decreased the percentage of depression. It can also improve your cognitive memory and knowledge of vocab. Emotions also come into play with reading because it helps you become more empathetic. To help you in life in general, reading also increases sharpen mental acuity.  

#5. Eating healthy foods

Food can either be a positive or negative effect for your mental health. If you fill your body with good nutrition then the body will react very happily and feel good. Often people with poor mental health take in processed food and sugary drinks, also known to not get enough energy to get their body energized.
